For a long time now, Red Bull has been using their creative advertising slogan “It Gives You Wings” as its centrepiece statement. These four words are very clever but also very random. It makes the assumption that wings equals energy, which I am not sure is immediately apparent normally.

It tells their audience that their product really gives you an energy boost. The ad slogan is a great example of marketing at its best.

5. “Finger Lickin’ Good” – KFC

Now that they are strongly stepping away from the fried in their WFC, this brands slogan is carefully used to reiterate the company’s strong brand values.

“Finger Lickin’ Good” helps tell the story to their audience that their chicken is the one which tastes great. This is exactly the messaging what you want from a fast food restaurant.

6. “Think Different” – Apple

Apple is known for pushing the boundaries of technology, and always coming up with new and exciting ideas.

This is why the “Think Different” tagline works so well for them. It tells customers that they are buying into a lifestyle and are at the forefront of technology.

7. “Taste the Rainbow” – Skittles

Skittles have been using their infamous “Taste the Rainbow” slogan since ways back in 1994. This simple slogan works because it perfectly reflects the product, which also feature a rainbow of color.

Insurance company, Zurich, has cleverly used their tagline to tell audiences why they should be insured by them.

The company is telling its audience that, when they need them, they will be there – just as long as they have insurance. It is simple, powerful, and perfectly reflective of the product.
